Mini Book Coaching Package

If you’re getting started on a long-form project or picking up a dormant idea, this month of support is designed to move you through blocks and get words on the page. This is also great for short-form projects like essays, speeches, or creative nonfiction and short fiction pieces you want to get ready for contest entries.

You’ll get:
– Two 60-minute coaching calls to delve into your project, your goals, and your obstacles — and to plan a way forward
– Developmental feedback on up to 15 pages of your writing
– Access to weekly co-working sessions for the productivity that comes with body-doubling and shared space
– Writing prompts tailored to your project so you can tackle the next chapter, paragraph, or scene

FAQs

Do I need to have a complete draft or manuscript?
Definitely not. You can have a completed first draft that you’re ready to work on and revise, but it’s just as useful if you have an idea or the beginnings of your project and a sense of where you’d like to go.

If you can envision a published final product but you’ve already encountered some resistance, limiting beliefs, or self-doubt, we can work together to tackle those obstacles and reconnect with your curiosity about where this project can go.

How will I get the goods?
We’ll do coaching calls via Zoom or phone. Developmental feedback on writing will be done in Word or Google Doc (whichever is more comfortable for you). Co-writing sessions happen on Zoom, and you’ll have access to email support and personalized writing prompts for asynchronous or in-person writing sessions.

What does it cost?
There’s a sliding scale for this offer, which breakdowns as follows:
– Pay It Forward rate: This rate creates more spaces for writers to work with me for a lower price — $350
– Mid-Range rate: If you’re just beginning to open space in your budget for your own writing, this may be the best rate for you — $250
– Support rate: This is the rate for writers who wouldn’t be able to access this service without this pricing — $150
